The constantly growing number of migratory flows, the economic, social and morphic reordering of the world and globalisation invite consideration of the various ways of staying and going. In the world today there are whole peoples in movement, in flight, in search. But there are also people at a halt, fleeing their own roots... MSP 2009 will look at a part of human knowledge from this particular point of view of physically and mentally establishing roots and uprooting. Proposals of sound and music will act as the bond, also seen as a journey in search of the sound roots of the various cultures of the world, and as the interior journeys that musicians and players always make to finally approach their own sound.
